Jan & Brian joined others across Somerset to give a special thank you to 40 Commando Royal Marines who recently arrived home from Afghanistan. Richs Cider was one of the companies to give gallons of its drink to the marines during a presentation organised by Somerset County Council's Chairman Cllr Alan Gloak.

Jan Scott told the Mercury: "Somerset is famous for its Cider and i hope 40 Commando enjoy the sample we provided. It's important that we show our gratitude for the bravery and commitment of our armed forces"
Richs Cider Farm hosted the traditional Somerset festivity, Wassailing, on Saturday 17th January 2009. The charity event for the Somerset Unit for Radiotherapy Equipment attracted more than 200 people and raised £    . With the Live band, The Mangled Wurzels, supported by Fred Bloggs, the event created a lively atmosphere in which was enjoyed by the locals both young and old.  Read more...
